GearCrave Crave of the Week: the Aptera Typ-1

There was no question about the Crave of the Week here at GearCrave last week. Sure, we’re excited about the Dell Latitude XT Tablet, the Philips Norelco Arcitec, and the sweet deal we posted on a 1 terabyte hard drive, but the Aptera Typ-1 takes the cake with a running start. A tabletized PC, the ultimate shave, and a shitload of storage space doesn’t stand up to 300 MPG for under $30,000, especially when it looks like that beast above. While some smart commenters added some in-depth thoughts on the design of the Aptera, the promise it brings to “next gen mobility” is unprecedented.
